This is a quality forged high carbon barbed hook in sickle style.  Excellent for all types of baits and species, this strong hook penetrates deeply.  Impressive reports are coming in from all types of fisheries that include striped bass, salmon, steelhead, and trout. This hook is a "go to" for side drifting for steelhead and salmon.  The preferred sizes for kokanee and "bobber dogging" for steelhead is this hook in sizes 4, 2, and 1, however many guides use the 2, 1, and larger for larger salmon.
