Angler Innovations The Web

Limit Out Fishing Products

I met Jim Milanowski at the Bob's Sporting Goods Show in Longview, Washington, and it was soon apparent that he is just as crazy about fishing as I am. Jim just invented a device for making herring and anchovy baits spin consistently and well called the "Limit Out Bait Rig." My first trial with his rig fished behind a LongLiner produced a very nice spring chinook salmon for me. I fished it 25 feet behind the LongLiner that day, while out with my field tester, Larry Craven. Since then Jim and I have fished together and had a banner day catching Springers (spring chinook salmon) on the Willamette River. The Limit Out Bait Rig catches anything that eats a baitfish. It has accounted for Tuna, Halibut, and Salmon here in the Northwest.

Visit the Limit Out website to see more about how this wonderful device works. I know you will be excited to try it out. It is one of those rare innovations that really makes a difference.

Here's a nice halibut caught using a Limit Out bait rig.
The fisherman used a "combo" offering: a lime green plastic squid was threaded up
the shaft of the bait rig, followed by the usual herring. The Limit Out bait rig imparted
spin to both the squid and the herring. Here is the result! ↓ Limit Out bait spinner.
