Michael Tracey:

Can you please email me a copy of rigging the longliner? I purchased one at the Puyallup sportsman show from you. I have lost the instructions and want to hook it up correctly but don’t know how?

Thank you,

I just added your semi barbless hooks into my line up purchased from all sports. But I wanted to share to my friends the single hooks but can’t find them here. I did share the treble hooks. I wanted to show them that they are compliable to ODFW barbless rules

For interested shoppers-this outfit is first class and treats customers like they are the most important thing going. Steve Lumsden is in charge of this company and I highly recommend you review their items. Myself and several friends have great success with the Dick’s Sure Spin Herring Helmets! Easy to use and spin perfectly and adjustable depending on your desired speed-slow, medium and fast. High recommend you try these. They are working great on the Umpqua, Coos and Rogue Rivers here in Oregon.
Great company Steve!!! Keep up the good work!! Rick Kearney

Steve Kaufman:

I have resisted using plug cut a lot of the times over the years because I didn’t like how often I had to re-bait. I recently used Dick’s Sure Spin Herring Helmets for the first time and I am a believer. i can’t belive how long a bait will last. I just pulled them up every 10-15 minutes for a check and occasional addition of scent I fished a couple mornings at the bar in Nehalem bay and we hooked seven Chinook with three rods. All seven fish were hooked on my rod with herring helmet. I even had one fish with slip the hook before we got it to the boat and pulled the hooks from the herring and slid it up the line. I re-adjusted my bobber stop, put the hooks back through the undamaged side of the bait and caught another fish within about 15 minutes. I will definitely continue to use them and will probably fish plug cut more often. I would recommend anyone who fishes plug cut to give these a try. I don’t believe you’ll be sorry.
